Private Tutoring
Private Tutoring Experience
During private tutoring sessions, your student will work one-on-one with a licensed teacher. Together, the student and teacher will work on supporting their classroom learning while backfilling missing standards or extending the lessons to a higher-level of thinking. Private tutoring is available in any subject area(s) for kindergarten through college students. Private tutoring sessions can be scheduled for 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the needs of the student, which will be determined during the initial tutoring session. Our tutors communicate with parents after every tutoring session and use easy to understand progress reports so that you always know what your student is working on.
The Process
Schedule Initial Lesson
During this session, new students will meet one-on-one with a teacher to complete a standards-based assessment in reading and math. This assessment will indicate the instructional areas for the tutor to address during private tutoring sessions.

Review + Plan
Next, the teacher will review the results with parents. This conversation includes scheduling preferences, recommended length and frequency of tutoring sessions, and academic areas to focus on to best meet the needs of the student.

Begin!
After the initial session, our team will match the student with a licensed teacher that is certified to teach in the content areas needed. Once a student is placed with a teacher, tutoring sessions are scheduled and begin.
